Established in 1983, we are a family-owned business with a reputation for quality craftsmanship, attention to detail and innovative framing solutions. Every day presents something different – from valuable artworks and limited editions to unique objects and bespoke framing projects. Our workshop team is known for producing some of Melbourne's finest custom framing work.

We are seeking an experienced Picture Framer / Production Framer to join our workshop team.

Enjoy a Workshop-Focused Role

This is a workshop-based position with no retail sales, no customer consultations and no weekend work. Your focus will be on producing high-quality framing work alongside a skilled and experienced team, working with exceptional artwork and unique framing challenges every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Stretching canvas artwork

• Hingeing and mounting artwork using conservation techniques

• Fitting and finishing framed works

• General picture framing production and assembly

• Handling valuable and often irreplaceable artwork with care and attention

• Maintaining quality standards throughout the production process

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Demonstrated hands-on picture framing experience, including canvas stretching, artwork mounting and fitting

• Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently

• A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team

• Good numeracy and literacy skills

• The ability to follow established procedures and quality standards

Essential Requirements

• Previous picture framing experience

• Reliable transport

• Permanent Australian work rights
