Analyst Programmer – Zoho Vertical Solutions

Optimum Insurance is seeking an Analyst Programmer to support the ongoing development, testing and enhancement of our business software applications built within the Zoho ecosystem.

The position involves systems analysis, application development and configuration, software testing, integrations and ongoing system improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business and system requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.

• Develop, configure and enhance software applications within the Zoho ecosystem.

• Assist with the design and development of application functionality.

• Work on system changes, enhancements and ongoing application improvements.

• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems using APIs.

• Test application functionality and identify, troubleshoot and document defects.

• Assist with system implementation and deployment.

• Prepare and maintain technical and system documentation.

• Work with internal stakeholders and developers to deliver system requirements.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 1 year's relevant experience in programming, application development, systems analysis or a related technical role.

• Experience developing or configuring applications within the Zoho ecosystem or a comparable business application platform.

• Experience with software development, configuration, testing and troubleshooting.

• Understanding of APIs and third-party system integrations.

• Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.

• Relevant qualification in information technology, computer science, software development or a related discipline.

• Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Experience with Zoho Vertical Solutions, Zoho CRM, Deluge scripting and Zoho APIs will be highly regarded.

Experience with customer relationship management systems, financial services or insurance technology applications would also be advantageous.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working within a small technology development team on the ongoing development and enhancement of commercial business software applications.
