Maintenance technician

About the role

JC Maintenance & Contracting PTY LTD is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance technician to join our team in Hobart, Tasmania. This is a full-time position, with flexible working hours available. As a Maintenance tech, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations and ensuring the efficient upkeep of our client properties.

What you'll be doing

• Carrying out general maintenance and household repair tasks

• General repairs of fences, plaster, tiling and painting

• Household repairs such as doors, clotheslines, windows and flooring

• Assist with concreting, paving and landscaping projects

• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to all safety protocols

• Responding promptly to client requests and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction

• Collaborating with the team to ensure the smooth coordination of maintenance activities

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a maintenance or labouring role, ideally in the property or construction industry

• Good practical skills and the ability to carry out a variety of maintenance tasks

• A keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively

• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with clients

• A flexible and adaptable approach to work, willing to take on a range of tasks as needed

• A valid driver's licence

• WWVP and National police check mandatory

• Strong use of technology, including emails, mobile and iPad
