Group Financial Accountant

The Company

My client are a leading diversified Property group with a number of high performing asset classes in their group. They have seen impressive growth across the business and have some interesting projects/acquisitions in the pipeline over the coming 12 months. Furthermore, they have a high performing team and offer continual learning and development opportunities to their staff.

The Role

Due to their recent growth, a newly created Group Financial Accountant role has arisen. You will report into the Group Finance Manager and have the following responsibilities:

• Preparation and presentation of consolidated monthly results
• Monthly management/board reporting with variance analysis and commentaries
• Cash flow management
• Liaising with various stakeholders including Divisional Finance staff, Operations staff and external auditors
• Tax compliance - FBT, GST, BAS and Income Tax etc
• Process improvements and ad hoc project involvement

About You

• CA/CPA qualified
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience
• You will be making your first move from either an Audit or Business Services role. Alternatively you will have prior experience in a Financial Accountant role within a large complex business in a Group Reporting function
• Strong Excel skills
• High attention to detail, motivated and curious
