Driveline Services Australia is looking for an experienced Fitter Turner / Machinist to join our growing Acacia Ridge team.

If you enjoy hands-on mechanical work, solving problems, and working with a skilled team in a well-equipped workshop, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

This is a full-time Monday to Friday role, offering excellent work-life balance, career progression, and overtime opportunities.

What you'll be doing

As a Fitter Turner / Machinist, you’ll be an important part of our workshop team, working on a wide range of drivetrain and driveshaft components used across industries including mining, transport, agriculture and heavy equipment.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Disassembly, inspection and rebuild of drivetrain components

• Driveshaft repair, assembly, manufacturing and balancing

• Working on light vehicles and heavy machinery components

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job specifications

• Working with the team to keep jobs moving efficiently

• Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, skilled and takes pride in their work.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience in fitting, machining or mechanical work

• Experience operating lathes, machining equipment, or MIG welding (highly regarded)

• Trade qualification in Fitting & Turning, Machining, Mechanical Fitter or similar

• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

• Ability to work both independently and within a team

• A strong commitment to safety
