The Role

We are seeking Telecommunications Riggers and Field Technicians at all levels—Team Leads, 2ICs, and Technicians — to join our growing team.

You’ll be responsible for:

·       Erection and dismantlement of steel and concrete structures 

·       Working at heights on towers, masts, poles and rooftops

·       Installation of various types of antennas and other tower mounted equipment

·       Installation, terminations and testing of telecommunication cables 

·       Operating and setting up winches & rigging systems

·       Use of cranes, EWP, Hiab’s and other mechanical aids

·       Installation of underground ducting, cables and earthing

·       Installation of tower, pole, mast and equipment shelter foundations

·       Completing site inductions and maintain job site documentation, including JSEA, SWMS, Permits and other safety checklists


Requirements:


·      Experience within the telecommunications rigging industry (preferred)

·      Familiar with working across the different carrier networks (NBN Wireless, Telstra, Optus, TPG, etc)

·      Ability to climb structures, working safely and competently at heights of up to 100m

·      Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work efficiently within a team

·      Good communication skills and ability to assist on-site teams as needed

·      Ability to complete project activities in a safe and healthy manner, to work to instruction standards and in accordance with the project requirements


Qualifications:


Essential

·       High risk work license (basic, intermediate or advanced)

·       Australian Driver’s License

·       First Aid & CPR Certification

·       White Card (construction induction)

Highly Regarded

·       High risk work license (EWP above 11m, preferred)

·       RADHAZ Awareness (preferred)

·       Working at Heights & Tower Rescue Certification (preferred)

·       Telstra, Optus, NBN and TPG Inductions (preferred)
