About the Role

Ganaji Contracting is seeking experienced Pipe Fitters to join major Oil & Gas and Process Plant construction projects in Karratha, WA.

These FIFO opportunities are suited to trade-qualified Pipe Fitters with a minimum of 5 years post-apprenticeship experience, particularly those with strong backgrounds in heavy industrial construction, Oil & Gas, LNG, mining or process plant environments.

You will be involved in pipe spool fabrication, mechanical fit-up, flange management and the installation of process piping systems.


Please note: All capital city points of hire will be considered.

Project Overview
  • Location: Karratha, WA
  • Roster: 3:1 FIFO
  • Employment Type: Full-time project work
  • Hours: Approx. 70 hours per week
  • Work Hours: Monday–Saturday 6:00am–4:30pm; Sunday 8 hours
  • Mobilisation: Immediate
  • Duration: 12–18 months
  • RDO: 1 per swing
  • Karratha Residents: DIDO available
  • Breaks: Paid break applies when working over 10 hours
Key Experience & Responsibilities To be successful, you will have:
  • Minimum 5 years post-apprenticeship Pipe Fitting experience
  • Proven experience in heavy industrial construction, Oil & Gas, LNG, mining or process plant environments
  • Experience with pipe spool fabrication, fit-up and installation
  • Ability to read and interpret isometric and spool drawings
  • Experience installing process piping, valves, pipe supports and associated equipment
  • Strong mechanical fit-up skills, including flange management and bolt tensioning
  • Experience supporting hydrotesting and pressure testing activities
  • Ability to work effectively alongside welders, riggers and mechanical trades
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality and productivity

  • Trade Qualification – Pipe Fitter
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Valid passport
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Construction White Card / Blue Card
  • Working at Heights
  • Confined Space
  • Gas Test Atmospheres
  • First Aid
  • EWP and other High Risk Work Licences highly regarded
  • Proof of WA residence
  • Must be currently based in Western Australia
