Cleaning Technician
About the Role
Airgene is part of the Precise Air group of companies. We specialise in duct cleaning, kitchen exhaust, laundry, toilet, and production exhaust cleaning, as well as routine maintenance and installation of building services.
Due to business growth, we're looking for an Airgene Service Technician (Commercial Kitchen Exhaust/HVAC Cleaning Technician) to join our team in Brisbane.
We're after someone who's self-motivated, physically fit, and comfortable working in ceiling cavities and rooftop areas. You'll also need the flexibility to work after hours when required.
If you're reliable, take pride in your work, and can complete tasks with minimal supervision, we'd love to hear from you.
A background in commercial or kitchen exhaust cleaning will be highly regarded.
What You'll Be Doing

Wash and replace grease filters

Cleaning of exhaust systems (fans, ducts, canopy hoods)

Final clean-up in kitchens (wipe down hoods, mop floors, etc.)

Take digital photos and complete service reports for each job

Vacuum, mop, scrub, and replace filters in mechanical plant rooms

Report mechanical deficiencies to management

Maintain cleanliness of tools, equipment, and company vehicles daily
What You'll Get

Pay rate: $26.78–$40 per hour, depending on the shift (higher rates apply for evenings, nights, or overtime)

Full-time, permanent part-time, and casual roles with consistent hours

Monday-Friday core hours, penalty rates for early morning or evening work

Whar You'll Bring

OHS Construction Induction (White Card) or willing to obtain

Valid Driver's Licence

Ability to travel within the state and be away from home for 2-5 days approximately every 5 weeks

Willingness and ability to work in confined spaces and at heights

Team-oriented mindset and ability to work in small crews

Previous cleaning or maintenance experience is a bonus – but not required

Additional Information
You may be required to complete audiometric testing within your first 3 months to establish a baseline (fully covered by the company). This does not impact hiring decisions or employment terms.
