PRINT ESTIMATOR/JOB PLANNER

Optima Press, one of Perth’s leading printing companies, is seeking an experienced Print Estimator / Job Planner to join our team at our Balcatta premises.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced printing professional to become part of a dynamic team and play a key role in managing jobs from quotation through to production.

The Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Preparing accurate and competitive customer quotations

• Planning and coordinating print jobs from start to finish

• Liaising with customers regarding job specifications and requirements

• Coordinating with suppliers to obtain pricing and manage materials

• Working closely with the sales and production teams

• Ensuring jobs are planned efficiently, accurately and within required deadlines

• Providing practical solutions to production and print-related requirements

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Previous experience in print estimating and/or job planning

• Strong knowledge of offset and digital printing processes

• Sound knowledge of print finishing processes

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• The ability to work effectively with sales, production, suppliers and customers

• A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team

• The ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Experience using PrintIQ software would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
