About our Role:
Due to sustained growth in the region, a strategic role has been established for a consultancy experienced Electrical Engineer (Mid to Senior Level) to be based in our Perth office and our Industrial and Resources team. With a focus on delivering high engineering design standards this role will directly report to and support the Regional Electrical Engineering Manager and assist in further growth of the team.

About our Role:

Role accountabilities:
- LV and HV power systems analysis (loadflow, fault levels, protection)
- LV and HV power systems design (SLDs, schematics, cable schedules, layouts)
- Protection systems design
- Earthing and lightning protection system design
- Preparation and presentation of reports
About you:
- Appropriate Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical Engineering
- Multiple years of post-graduate HV or LV, experience within the Power / Resources / Industrial sector
- Detailed understanding of Electrical Infrastructure for Industrial Sites and Generation facilities
- Experience with specifying and selecting switchgear, power system components and substation plant
- Proven experience modelling HV projects in ETAP. Additional exposure to DigSilent would be highly regarded
- Demonstrated ability to lead, with good influencing, motivating and delegation skills
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills, both internally and externally
- Strong client focus and the ability to work within or lead a project team
- Controls experience preferred but not essential
