As a hands-on Maintenance Team Member, you will support all aspects of planting and grounds maintenance across multiple sites, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency in daily tasks. Our expected wage for this role is $27.00 - $38.00 per hour.
As a key team player, you will contribute to the success of our maintenance projects through best horticultural practices, safety protocols, and effective use of landscaping equipment. Your role will help maintain and enhance the quality of outdoor environments, ensuring the projects meet client expectations.
We would love to hear from you if:
- You have a Cert III in Parks & Gardens or Horticulture (desirable)
- You have a Construction White Card (mandatory)
- Have an interest in obtaining certifications in Working from Heights or Rope Access (desirable)
- Have 1+ year experience in landscape maintenance or a related role, with a passion for horticulture
- Have a full driver's licence
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Carry out landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, pruning, planting, mulching, and general garden upkeep
- Follow safety protocols and contribute to the safe execution of all tasks
- Assist in diagnosing and treating plant deficiencies, pest issues, and diseases
- Operate hand tools and machinery for various maintenance activities
- Help manage irrigation systems, including basic programming and maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of tasks and report on work progress as required
