What You’ll Be Doing
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks for children.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment.
• Following food safety standards, allergy management requirements and dietary guidelines.
• Supporting safe food handling, hygiene and kitchen compliance practices.
• Assisting with stock management and kitchen supplies.
• Working collaboratively with team members and leadership teams to support daily routines and children’s wellbeing.
• Upholding professional boundaries, ethical conduct and child safe practices at all times.
• Following all organisational policies, procedures and legislative requirements relevant to the role.
Shift is 6.30am - 3.00pm
What You’ll Bring
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
• Experience in cooking, catering or kitchen work.
• Experience within an early childhood education and care setting is highly regarded.
• Understanding of safe food handling, allergy management and hygiene requirements within early childhood settings.
• Strong organisation and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to maintaining safe, respectful and child safe environments.
• Current Working With Children Check/Blue Card or willingness to obtain.
