ABOUT THE ROLE
Working as part of our Operations team, you will assist with the refurbishment, repair, modification and installation of our modular building fleet.
This is a hands-on role that offers excellent variety. Based at our Narangba branch, you will also have the opportunity to work on-site supporting the installation, modification and commissioning of modular buildings on major infrastructure and construction projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Refurbishment, repair and internal fit-outs of modular buildings and complexes.
Installation, modification and repair of prefabricated steel framing systems.
General repairs and maintenance to relocatable buildings.
Rectification of customer damage and preparation of assets for rehire.
Assist with new asset modifications and upgrades.
Attend customer sites to assist with the installation, modification and commissioning of modular buildings.
Work alongside crane crews, transport providers and installation teams during project deliveries.
Ensure all work is completed safely and to Grove Hire's high-quality standards.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workplace.
Plan, schedule and prioritise maintenance activities based on operational requirements
Conduct quality inspections and sign-off on completed works
Develop proactive maintenance plans and extend asset life
Ability to work in a team environment
Assist with duties and asset handling as required
ABOUT YOU
Qualified Carpenter.
White Card.
Forklift License
Current Driver Licence.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to interpret drawings and complete work to specification.
Experience working with prefabricated steel framing (preferred but not essential).
Experience in modular buildings, portable buildings, commercial fit-outs or building maintenance (highly regarded).
Strong work ethic with a positive, team-first attitude.
Ability to problem solve and work independently.
Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
