About the role

Our Business Coaches live and work in their communities and spend time coaching a portfolio of clients to start and sustain a small business. A day in the life of a Business Coach involves regular face to face coaching sessions with individual clients across the entire business journey, including establishing a business plan, analysing cashflow, and assisting clients to access microfinance loans to help get the business started.


About You:

As a Business Coach, you will have a profound impact on the growth and development of countless individuals. You may have run your own business or have experience in the financial services sector in lending and loan management. To be successful as a Business Coach you will require:

  1. Proven experience as a business coach, with mentoring and capacity building skills.
  2. Strong business acumen across various business functions, including business planning, sales, marketing and finance.
  3. Excellent verbal, presentation, and written skills, with exceptional networking and stakeholder management capacity.
  4. Impeccable integrity, trust, respect, stewardship, strong cultural awareness and commitment to people in disadvantaged circumstances.
  5. Proficient in the use of internet technology (Zoom and Teams), MS Office suite, previous experience with Client Management System is desirable.
  6. Ability to promote and establish key networks across your region with Job Actives, TAFE Colleges, Indigenous and community leaders .
  7. Qualification in Business, Finance or a relevant field.
