About the Role

We're looking for a Part Time (0.6 FTE) Community Hubs Coordinator to join our team based in our Oaklands Park Office

We are looking for dynamic, values-driven individuals to contribute to our innovation and expansion. In conjunction with the Senior Community Hubs Coordinator, the Community Hubs Coordinator will liaise and contribute and support school-based community hubs in identified schools, in collaboration with Community Hubs Australia and a targeted network of allied service providers and stakeholders in South Australia.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • In conjunction with the Senior Community Hubs Coordinator liaise and contribute to the partnership with Community Hubs Australia to deliver the goals and the outcomes for the National Community Hubs Program in SA.
  • Working with the Senior Community Hubs Coordinator, contribute to all aspects of program planning including providing advice and support.
  • In partnership with the Senior Community Hubs Coordinator, provide mentoring and support to the professional development of hub leaders. 
  • Prepare and deliver all reporting requirements to LC and Community Hubs Australia within nominated timeframes.
  • Liaise with new schools regarding introduction and implementation of the program.
  • Undertake data analysis to identify data insights and learnings to support hubs.
  • Facilitate regular Hub Leader meetings to encourage collaboration and shared decision-making across hubs.
  • Foster collaboration with school leadership and implement strategies to engage disengaged principals.
  • In partnership with the Senior Community Hubs Coordinator provide support and structures for local hubs to connect with local service providers and networks.
  • Identify and develop key strategic relationships with National Hub Coordinators working in other support agencies to achieve goals and to improve outcomes for hub participants.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Essential Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in community development, multicultural and settlement services or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge and experience working in and supporting place-based community development projects.
  • Experience developing and sustaining collaborative partnerships across a wide range of stakeholder groups.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that foster relationships and create alignment on shared goals.
