We pride ourselves on delivering accurate, timely, and personable service, and we're looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing team.

About the Role

We're seeking a mid-level Bookkeeper (2–5 years' experience) to manage bookkeeping functions for a portfolio of clients across a range of industries. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, client interaction, and working within a supportive accounting practice environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and receivable for multiple clients

  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

  • Prepare and lodge BAS and IAS

  • Manage payroll processing, including STP, superannuation, and PAYG

  • Maintain general ledgers and prepare month-end reports

  • Liaise directly with clients to resolve bookkeeping queries

  • Assist accountants with data preparation for tax returns and financial statements

  • Ensure compliance with ATO requirements and current legislation

About You

  • 2–5 years' bookkeeping experience, ideally within a public practice or multi-client environment

  • Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting (or working towards)

  • Proficient in Xero, MYOB, and/or QuickBooks

  • Strong understanding of GST, payroll obligations, and BAS/IAS preparation

  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

  • Confident communicator, comfortable liaising directly with clients

  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines simultaneously
