Great opportunities for professional development at home and internationally
The good thingsI had a really supportive manager who championed any professional development opportunity I chased. I worked closely with our customers and got to do some interesting work. I also got the opportunity to take on an international secondment which is personally at the top of my 'good things' list.

Plenty of opportunity for professional development.
The good thingsI have had great challenges, opportunities to be stretched, support for my continued professional development and now the opportunity for an international deployment with the company. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the team at QinetiQ.
The challengesYou are working in a consulting role so your role can sometimes be constrained by the tasking available, that said if you develop a strong reputation for yourself there is always plenty of enriching work to be found.

Never a dull day, always challenging work and great people to do it with.
The good thingsQinetiQ is a really responsible employer and do a lot to support the community and their people. The work life balance is great and there are useful benefits like loyalty leave and leave purchase which are really helpful in balancing home life. The individual training allowance is great to be able to manage your career direction.
The challengesIt is a growing company so there are always challenges in balancing business needs and growth - but on the whole they are doing a good job at investing in new benefits and improvements in the workplace.

You are only there to fill holes created by BDMs who are only worried about contracts. They don't care that there is meaningless work. No promotion prospects and little education opportunities.
The good thingsPay is reasonable. Good leaving the company
