I'm new to the corporate workplace and not sure about whether I should eat lunch with my team if they ask? I prefer to just zone out during my break or watch something on my phone, but I don't want to be seen as anti-social. I'm worried doing my own thing will make me seem like not a 'team player'. Does anyone here have a similar team culture where people usually have lunch together - and what do you do if you don't always want to join them?

I have applied for over 100 jobs in the last 12 months with only one company reaching out. I’m convinced that the lack of interest from employers is due to ageism !

What can I do? I don't know what to do with my life anymore. I have a job now and been here for a year and now she came out with the idea I have to tell her "good bye" until her office which is in a different floor. I walk around 6 or 7 hrs except in my lunch time but she stills want me to go upstairs and see her in the eyes and tell her goodbye. I told her I can make a call or casually but she want it every day. I am tired of people like that. What can I study or another job?

These employers are the worst. They hire someone in mid-November, promising the world and acting so friendly—only so they can jet off on overseas holidays and spend summer with their kids while they're out of school. Then, come late January or mid-February, they suddenly drop the news: you're no longer needed. How is it even acceptable for an employer to behave this way? It's heartbreaking to work hard and be dedicated, only to be discarded after just a few months. Absolutely disgusting. 😡

I was abused by a co-worker and when I complained about it, I was told thats just the way that person is and to move on. Then in the same meeting they decided to tell me that they're putting me on a performance review plan. Nothing was mentioned about my work until I made a formal complaint about this co-worker.

I’m struggling with a colleague. I’ve noticed they don’t speak to me the same way they speak to other staff. Their tone is different and the way they approach communication is vastly different from how they approach other staff. I thought it was just me misreading the situation or just simply overthinking it, but different colleagues have told me that they see the difference.I spoke to someone about it all but it seems like nothing is going further than that. any advice on how to approach it?
