I’m so tired. Been looking for work for over a year, applying for hundreds of jobs online and in person. Less than 20 responses, less than 10 interviews, only two short job stints. I’m 21, at uni, had a good ATAR, experience across warehousing, retail, hospitality, cleaning, customer service, industrial work, forklift driving, and team leadership. I tailor applications and have full availability, nothing works. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Any advice?

I am looking for a new job currently and wondering how much notice people usually give when they leave their job? I am the only receptionist at a mediclinic and I don't want to 'leave them in the lurch' but one months notice seems too long? It's a small practice so there isn't any policy or anything that I know of. Won't giving a month notice hurt my chances of getting a job?

Hi, I’m reaching out to share what I’m currently going through. I fractured my left rib last Saturday and have been in significant pain since. I provided my employer with a valid medical certificate advising that I shouldn’t be working, however I’m still being pressured to come in due to staff shortages. I was even told to continue working despite my injury. Im concerned about my health and safety and I don’t feel this situation is being handled appropriately I’m looking for advice and support

Question about resigning - do you write your resignation in the body of the email or as an attached letter? Every resignation letter template I see online is formatted like a proper letter - is this old fashioned or are letters still the done thing? What's better from an HR perspective?
