Experienced Bartender
I was a bartender. I was good at my job. I knew and understood the community by name history and what chapter of Life there in. I quit the job stupidly. Because of my new manager, she was horrible to me. Go to the point where I got harassed and bullied for hours and hours straight my head Manager wouldn’t do anything about it? She said. Oh she’s just pushy. Sometimes she doesn’t mean to be like that. It went on for months.

Mental Health/ Disability Support Worker
There is s legislation against workplace bullying in Australia. Look up, read it please, and next time you will be prepared. The employer has the responsibility to provide a workplace free of bullying and harassment, and you can report that person.

So sorry that's what you went through Nikisha. Companies should have policies against bullying so dismissing a valid complaint says a lot about the sort of company they are. 😞
There are places you can make a complaint but maybe it's a sign that's not the kind of place you'd want to be?

Quitting a toxic workplace is sometimes all you can do Nikisha. You did the right thing going to the senior manager...If they weren't prepared to take it seriously, hard to see how it would improve.
